Ning has a help section tab on its main page for you to click on if you have any questions regarading the various tools found within social networks.  The help page is broken up into two main sections for questions regarding tools for members of a social network and another section for those who are creating a social network.  Under the links for each section, there are a list of questions that address different technical aspects.  They cover pretty much every angle you can think of and more with this FAQ. If they did happen to miss something, you can contact them via e-mail and they are pretty prompt about getting back with you.  In my attempts to figure out the inner workings of Ning, I used this FAQ as a page of reference whenever I ran into trouble. I don’t know what I would have done without it.
