Is There a Point Where You Can’t Go Any Farther?

Has anybody ever wondered when they see an infomercial for how to improve life and say to yourself, “I could make that better?”  With all of the advances we’ve made over the past couple of decades you can’t help but wonder if things can be made any easier.  When those things are created, can they be improved upon. What about the things after that.  Does this cycle have one culminating point where there just nowhere else to go?   Or, is this just a never ending cycle of improvement that will continue through the existence of time?  We see changes made in education and a lot of different issues come as well.  But, can someone create a model that takes every issue, finds an effective solution to deal with it, and say that there can be no more improvements?  What do you think?  Is it possible to say this is as good as it gets.
