Dictionary Skills…Do We Take Them For Granted?

I read a blog by MGuhlin, after reading phaedus, and discovered something that was very interesintg.  I can recall in elementary, middle, and high school looking up vocabulary words and finding the definitions.  Now, it is so easy to go on dictionary.com, type in a word, and get the definition in a blink of an eye.  While, I think that alphatizing words is a skill that we should all learn, some adults can’t even do it, some dictionaries don’t contain some words.  The online database, however contains many, many words.  But, despite the huge number of words, students still need to know how to alphabitize things.
